These guidelines must be followed when posting a ban appeal. Threads started that do not conform to these guidelines will be locked and you will be directed to this thread for instructions on the proper format for a ban appeal. This is done to keep the ban appeal process as streamlines and easy as possible for staff. Please note that your ban appeal will be dealt with by the staff member that banned you. Pestering other members of the staff about your ban will only make it worse.
Formatting your post:
The Subject of your post should be: "Name" - "Ban Message" So if your in game name is Steve123 and your ban message is "griefing faction house -soth" your subject should look like this:
Steve123 - griefing faction house -soth
The posts message should be formatted as follows, filling out the information for each section.
In game name: Date/Time of ban: Today's date: Ban message: Explanation:
Things which cannot be appealed
Certain things cannot be appealed such as x-ray cheating and mass spamming. If you did either of these things you might as well not bother.
What not to do
Lie Be rude to the staff Give us some lame explanation like "but i didn't even do anything wrong" Tell us your sister/brother/dog did it, you are responsible for your account. Post multiple appeals unless directed to start a new appeal due to your previous appeal being incorrectly formatted. Posting repeated messages in your appeal thread bugging the staff about it. It will be dealt with when it's seen. PM mods about your ban appeal, again it will be dealt with when it's seen.
Things that might help you
In some cases there might be a simple misunderstanding or a mistake (after all we are only human). The explanation section of your appeal is where you will have a chance to explain what happened. If you know that you did wrong, go ahead and admit it. Just because you are banned doesn't mean investigations into the matter are halted, if there is convincing reason to do so we will look deeper into the issue.
